Car – Class B
The standard car driving license. Authorizes driving vehicles up to 3.5 t permissible total weight with max. 8 passenger seats (excluding driver).
Minimum Age
18 years (17 years with accompanied driving – BF17)

Theory
12 double lessons basic content + 2 double lessons additional content
Practice
Mandatory lessons + practical test drive
Allowed Vehicles
Motor vehicles up to 3.5 t GVW, max. 8 passenger seats (excluding driver). Trailers up to 750 kg; heavier trailers if total combination weight ≤ 3,500 kg.
Special Notes
Accompanied driving from age 17 possible (BF17). No upgrade needed to tow trailers over 750 kg up to a max. combined weight of 3,500 kg.
