Accompanied Driving from 17 – BF17

Allows independent driving from the 17th birthday in the company of a registered accompanying person.

17 years

Requirements

None

Theory

12 double lessons basic content + 2 double lessons additional content (same as Class B)

Practice

Mandatory lessons + practical test drive

Allowed Vehicles

Same as Class B: vehicles up to 3.5 t GVW, max. 8 passenger seats.

Special Notes

Accompanying person must be at least 30 years old, have held Class B for at least 5 years, and may have at most 1 point in the traffic register. From the 18th birthday, Class B applies without restriction.
